How to play
- Tap “Show pattern”: the stroke is drawn dot by dot.
- Draw the same path from memory without lifting your finger. As on Android, a pattern has at least 4 dots and never reuses one; if the stroke passes over an unused dot, Android adds it automatically.
- If you miss, we tell you how many dots were in the right place. You get 3 tries.
- “Show again” (it appears after your first try or when you resume a game) replays the pattern, but it counts as a hint in the result you share.
Each day’s pattern has 6 dots and is the same for everyone; it changes at 00:00 UTC. No account needed: your streak is stored only in this browser.
Frequently asked questions
Is it the same pattern for every player?
Yes. It is calculated from the date (UTC), so everyone sees the same daily pattern and it refreshes at 00:00 UTC.
What is an in-between dot?
If you swipe from one dot to another over a third dot you haven’t used yet (for example 1 to 3), Android adds that middle dot. The daily pattern counts those dots like any other.
Where is my streak stored?
In your browser (localStorage). If you clear the site’s data or play on another device, you start from zero.
What do the symbols in the shared result mean?
One mark per try: ✅ is the solve; a number from 0️⃣ to 5️⃣ shows how many dots were in the right place; and ➕ means all 6 dots matched but your stroke had extra dots. “X/3” means you didn’t solve it, 💡 counts your hints and 🔥 your streak.
Can I see how the daily pattern scores?
Yes. When you finish, a link opens that pattern in the PatternGuard simulator so you can see its analysis, and you can save it to your patterns.
